I looooooove owlcity's song fireflies. its ridiculous how much i listen to this song.
anyway, more photoshop practice. i think i got better at least at noses and lips (which are seriously difficult!) the hair was a bit of a bitch though. need to work on my strategy because even though i worked on it all in one sitting, all the pieces look different to me X( okay, im going to turn critique on. no one usually does those but IF YOU DO (and you're one of those lovely people who reads descriptions) please be gentle? Comments
 Well I'm not able to give you an official critique, but here goes:
You did do a fabulous job with the eyes and nose. The lips seemed a bit to blurred or had to much shine on them. And the hair detail was great, but I think the separation of those locks in the back kinda throw it off. Perhaps having the spaces small would help? Overall it looks wonderful. -- IT'S BRAINS! If you cried when Axel faded, think Demyx has a heart, and that Marluxia is ghey/fabulous, copy and paste this into your signature thanks so much! aaah, lips! the bane of my existence!

but after a few more looks...she kind of looks like she's going to sneeze. like a little of an eye twitch going on with a touch of irritation in her expression. i dunno. but i like her nose.  -- “I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells.” XD now that you mention it she totally does! i think that was me doing another lousy attempt at making her seem asian...? its more apparent in the smaller eye though so it just looks uneven and bit like she's going to sneeze lol.

Critiques
The colours for the hair are flat. I see some highlights but it doesn't make a strong impact (I had to squint at the screen to see that there are highlights). I t would look good for vectoring but not for a painting that has a lot of tones to it.
Over all, it's a good start. The background gives the overall feel of calm.
